OFFICE HOURS AND APPOINTMENTS
The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m. The veterinarians are not always available during these hours because of appointments and surgery, so appointments are highly recommended. Please describe your problem to the receptionist when you make an appointment so that adequate time will be allowed. We do our best to see your pet on time as we know your time is valuable too, but occasionally emergencies and unforeseen delays may occur. If possible we will notify you in advance if there are delays and you will have the option of rescheduling or seeing another veterinarian. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please extend the courtesy of notifying us so we can adjust our schedule. When you arrive for your appointment please inform the receptionist of any address or phone number changes. Additionally, your pet needs to be on a leash or in a carrier since a lobby full of free-roaming animals can cause a lot of problems. If it is your first time to our clinic we will ask that you fill out a new client questionnaire that will take a few extra minutes to give us all the pertinent information regarding your animal’s health history.
CALLS
Please notify the receptionist if you are calling with an EMERGENCY. From time to time you may wish to contact the veterinarian. The doctor may not always be available when you call, but the office staff is always available to assist you or to take a message for the doctor. Please describe your problem in detail so that an accurate message may be taken. Be sure to give a daytime and evening phone number where you can be reached. Our doctors like to return all of their messages, but occasionally it is more efficient for our staff to get your chart of history, then consult a veterinarian, and call you back.
